Seeking Insight & Nominations As We Design KEFFs Grant Making Processes

Kinship Earth's newly adopted philanthropic model, Flow Funding, is all about sharing decision making power with the individuals and communities we aim to support, trusting in their wisdom and contextual understanding to deploy funds for maximum impact.

As we embrace this inclusive and participatory approach to philanthropy, Kinship Earth Flow Fund (KEFF) is kicking off a series of online gatherings, the 1st one being March 1st at 4 PM EST.

PLEASE REGISTER HERE TO JOIN US

Facilitated by Syd Harvey Griffith, KEFF’s goal for this session is to identify prospective Ambassadors and Advisors, with diverse perspectives, who we'll invite to join us in shaping our grant making processes.

We hope you can join us to share referrals as well as ideas for how we can foster an inclusive, accessible, and equitable grant making process.

If you can’t make it, we welcome you to share your recommendations here.

Note: Kinship Earth's focus areas include conservation, preservation, restoration, regeneration of natural systems, advancements in human health, social justice, & economic equity.

BACKGROUND ON KEFF:

Kinship Earth was created to carry on the legacy of Susan Davis Moora and her KINS Innovation Networks, which united a diverse community of activists, influencers, and business professionals. They pooled knowledge and resources to forward environmental and social justice initiatives and industries.

A few years ago Susan, her husband, Walter, and Stephen Gomes, P.D. came together to re engage the KINS Networks Susan built in an effort to foster collaboration around addressing the pressing issues of our current world. They launched Kinship Earth to reconnect with network alumni and highlight its members' social impact and environmentally focused work through online educational events.

With Kinship Earth's recent adoption of Marion Weber Rockefeller's Flow Funding model, Kinship Earth is embracing this approach to philanthropy by calling on its community for support with identifying prospective advisors, ambassadors, and key decisions makers to ensure the first iteration of its flow fund and grant making processes are inclusive, accessible, and equitable.

We recognize that we’ll always be improving as we request and implement feedback from the communities we serve, and others.
