Our approach to philanthropy is inspired by the innovative "Flow Funding" model developed by Marion Rockefeller Weber in the early 1990s, designed to quickly and directly channel resources to those making a tangible impact on the ground.

Your donations help us fund carefully selected US-based 501(c)(3)s that are practicing flow funding and committed to activities which align with our charitable and educational purposes.
These organizations are on the frontline of planetary regeneration, land remediation, conservation, restoration, advancements in human health, social justice, & economic equity. By donating to Kinship Earth, you are empowering these organizations to deepen their impact.
We require reports from our nonprofit partners to ensure funds are used as intended, fostering transparency and accountability.

Kinship Earth educates donors on how they can make direct non-tax deductible gifts to our network of Ambassadors—trusted community leaders and activists deeply engaged in grassroots work.
Per the IRS' 2024 gift tax exemption, if the amount given is less than $18,000, the donations can be treated as gifts.
This strategy bypasses reporting and taxation. As a result, these direct contributions empower Ambassadors to allocate funds within their communities without the burden of extensive reporting.
We work with our Ambassadors and end recipients to share the stories of how they used the funds to make a positive impact.
We encourage donors who support in this manner to focus on building relationships, ensuring a thoughtful and informed giving process.
While Kinship Earth helps establish these connections, the financial engagement and accountability are between the donors and Ambassadors.

We offer educational programs to inform and inspire donors on the principles and practices of Flow Funding, as well as the ability to give non-tax-exempt gifts under the IRS' gift tax exclusion.
We also host regular online meetings that bring together all stakeholders - from donor to end recipient to foster relationship building, and shared learning and growth.
